IMMEDIATE VACANCIES
Seeking reliable care provider(s) for 18-yr old young man with cerebral palsy. No previous experience required (just a caring spirit). Very good-natured. No "behaviors." Loves art, music, movies. Requires total care. Home is 6 miles from Mountaineer Field. (Reliable transportation is a must.) Clean, comfortable home. Stress-free work environment. We're currently staffing for fall semester & beyond. Hours are flexible. Current need is for 6 hours of staffing per day. (School days from 2:30p to 8:30pm. Weekends & school breaks flexible.) Another adult will also be in the home until caregiver is comfortable working solo! If you're a student, we expect your availability to change each semester due to course schedules. No smokers, please.
Employment is through ResCare Clarksburg (although job site is in Morgantown home). Travel to Clarksburg office is NOT required. Pay is hourly & not much above minimum wage, but experience looks great on a resume for those studying in a related field (health sciences, education, special education, social work). Benefits available. Wonderful, low maintenance employer.
Happy to coordinate with faculty if work-study is involved. Also happy to provide glowing references if employee is reliable & competent.
